We were not at the Royal Dockyards, but south end from my understanding. Fairly nice port. Got on our excursions close to boat vicinity. Since we stayed overnight here, we did an excursion both days. One land and one sea(glass bottom). Both excursions were ok. There were 48 people in our group for the land excursion. They seperated us in groups of 6 while waiting for the taxis, which was a van, so this wasted a fair amount of time. Maybe, they should have gotten us togetheron the ship and seperated us out prior and maybe the taxis should have have been waiting there for us when we got off the ship. That probably would have saved a lot of time. We were one of the last groups that left the area and it took away from our tour time, as things were getting close to closing till we got there. Our driver was very nice and informative but rushing to try to get us to places before they closed and before traffic got heavy. Very hard to take pictures while riding, especially since we were in back of van. Very busy island. Would have probably been better if our ship would have gotten there an hour or so sooner and time wasn't wasted on dock trying to get groups together and waiting for the taxi's to get there. The glass bottom was also informative but there were 2 viewing areas and the guide was at one of them, so when she was telling about things we were seeing, one side was not seeing same as other, so a little disappointing to not necessarily see what they were talking about. All in all it was still a nice ride and good weather. Horseshoe Beach was a beautiful beach.

We did a Crystal Caves and Hamilton excursion through Royal. The Crystal Caves were stunning and with the trip to the other side of the island. The only downfall was the shore excursion did not include transport beach to the ship from Hamilton. Which was fine, we just took the ferry which was very busy, but going forward will probably book shore excursions that end back at the ship

This is a nice place but arriving late, staying the night, and leaving by noon the next day didn't allow for enough time for shore excursions. With a 2.5 to 3 hour excursion almost half of the time was spent on a ferry to get to Hamilton or in a Van to tour and visit Hamilton was not nearly enough time.

Beautiful Port, but time reduced drastically. One day spread over night, rather that two days advertised. Should have reduced Coco Cay, or cancelled it.

I love Bermuda. I did a self excursion to tobacco Bay. I got there for free and only spent on food and drinks which was a 3rd of the cost that ncl offered. Had to walk 10-15 minutes each way from the ferry.

Just winged it and glad we did. Used ferry to get around. Went to Royal naval dockyard which was very interesting plenty of shopping around. Hamilton had a beautiful park to explore and plenty of shopping.
