If you want the "off the beaten track". Go to the singing glass beach by taking the # 7 or 8 bus from the dockyard, ask the driver where to get off it's near a cemetary on private property but the owner allows respectful visitors. You can then get back on either to check out Somerset Bridge, tge workds smallest drawbridge, by walking across it to the next bus stop on the way to HBB.

Horseshoe Bay Beach is gorgeous. Just take the local vans for $7 per person one way. Go early in the morning before it gets crowded. If you want to do some shopping, take the ferry to Hamilton. The shoreline is beautiful to see going by with beautiful homes and boats. Just be aware that most of the stores in Hamilton are closed on Sundays so I don’t recommend going on a Sunday.

Toms Moore Jungle is very nice to swim in the Blue Lagoon and go swimming in the cavern there. Also Jobson Cove has the pink sand beach and is looking cated near a bus stop

Take the morning ferry to St George which was the original capitol of Bermuda. Many historic sights please the best shopping on the island. Visit the church and the perfume factory in St George. Then take a bus to Hamilton. Ask driver for a transfer to take a connecting bus to the Dockyards. Great way to see most of the island without a tour. Skip the botanical gardens during the summer.

You can take the ferry over to Hamilton. there's shopping over there. We went to the zoo museum and aquarium. It was very nice. There's a mall by the pier you can walk to that closes at 6:00 PM.
