We arrived on Sunday and the stores on the main island were closed. We would have liked to have shopped there. There were some stores at the dock that were open.

Bermuda is beautiful. Public tranportation is excellent, very clean and organized, if you plan to walk around, just buy a three days pass for public tranportation it works for the buses and for the ferry. You can make your own tour using public transportation. From Dock Yard to Hamilton and St. George and vice-versa using bus or ferry is very easy and beautiful. The people are very polite, I felt very confortable walking and interacting with the Bermudian people. Bermuda is on my return list.

Bermuda has great food, nice places to shop, really beautiful beaches. We rented Scooters and rode around the Island. You drive on the left side of the road. Be careful to give yourself plenty of time to get back to the ship, if you venture out it’s a good 45 min drive back.

This was our fourth time to Bermuda on a cruise. Absolutely love this Island! People are very friendly. It is a very safe and beautiful island. Just do not rent a scooter if you are not familiar with them!!!

Monday afternoon after arriving in Bermuda: ‘Lighthouses, Pink Sands and Shopping Island’ tour was boring. Our driver was not very energetic. We did not even have an opportunity to get out of the van to take pictures of the Pink Sand on the beach. He provided a minimum of information and did not really have answers for our questions. Church and lighthouse were less than impressive. 30 minutes in Hamilton was not a lot of time to see anything. I would not recommend this three hour tour. Tuesday morning in Bermuda: ‘Hamilton Shopping & Sightseeing’ was a boat tour from the cruise ship dock to Hamilton. We boarded the excursion boat at the cruise ship dock and spent about 45 minutes learning about Bermuda on our way to Hamilton. The boat tour was provided by Fantasea Diving & Watersports. They did a great job, and told us much more about Bermuda than we heard the day before on our land-based tour of the island. We also had about two hours in Hamilton and we docked directly under the flag pole on Front St. Even though the weather was less than perfect (a little rain on the way and a lot of wind on the way back), we had a great time.
