The water and sand. Lack of souvenir shops close to port.

really liked being able to walk right off the ship at the port . Beautiful scenery and the water and beaches are a "must see"

I went on the public transportation the bus and ferry. I was worth the 28.00 3 day pass. I went to St. George, Hamilton, Horseshoe Beach and Tobacco Bay.

Maritime Museum is a must. Snorkeling at Snorkel Beach is also recommended. You can rent snorkel gear for just $10. Forget on-shore shopping and dining.

Bermuda was beautiful but would have ideally liked to dock near the city (not possible in a larger ship like this)

Our time on the island was fantastic. The book by Lonely Planet was our guide. Day one: Maritime Museum, then Sunken Ship/Coral Reef Excursion. Day two: Ferry to St George. Many historic places. Then bus to the Swizzle Inn/Crystal Caves. Both very awesome. Then bus to Hamilton and Ferry back to Dockyard. Day three: bus to Horseshoe Bay. Amazing beach. Bus back. I highly recommend this basic itinerary to those who want to "go it alone".

We "found" the beach at the port on our last afternoon there. It was a great find and we will definitely visit there next time. We enjoyed the port but it was not the highlight of our trip. The boat was.

Not a ton to see there - especially at night. Don't bother going to Snorkel Park. You have to pay $5 and the beach isn't that great - more like a tourist trap.
