Walked around Hamilton the buildings are beautiful and the people are nice... However the shops are extremely expensive a pair of shoes were over 95 dollars American for same quality I get at Kmart

Great shopping, but not quite as much as I thought. Can be easily done in a half day. I highly recommend horseback riding trail ride with Spicelands Riding Centre. Horse and carriage ride is really nice. Visit Horseshoe Bay Beach, the best by far along with Elbow Beach. Royal Navaly Dockyard is mostly overrated. The only stores I liked were the Dockyard Clayworks and Glassworks where you can watch local artists at work and buy their pieces. Prices are not bad. Maritime Museum is waste of time. Dolphin Quest is nice. Arts Centre and Craft Market are waste of time. Attended Harbour Nights street festival on Wednesday night with lots of street vendors with nice stuff and a parade with Gombey dancers and a band later on after dark.

Absolutely the Crystal Cave. It was amazing and our guide was very friendly, informative and a lot of fun. Watching the Grand Prix bike race on Front Street was fun and exciting. Horseshoe Bay Beach!!! Absolutely beautiful and would love to go there again. Cog Penny Pub and Restaurant was pleasant, good food and nice wait staff.

We meet our ship in Bermuda so our drive from the airport to the ship was basically our tour. It was neat to see everything from a local's perspective. We saw the world's smallest drawbridge, learned about local parishes and drove by the docks to see the artwork of different ships. Would have loved to visit the caves, heard it was a must see but didn't personally experience it.

We both enjoyed the down town area. You can get a ferry or a bus, for $4 right off the ship and it will take you to Hamilton for some shopping and walking around. But, be very careful, if you take the bus back, you will see more of the sites, but be prepared for an hour trip back. Leave yourself plenty of time to make it back to the ship. And, if you use the buses to get off at Horse shoe or any other beach, you might not be able to get back on a bus, as the buses were very full at the stops. They fill up in Hamilton and they take off on their route. We saw many folks come back by way of taxi. $$ At the dock is the Maritime Museum. We would like to see more of that the next time we go.
