Love Wrangell, even though the Wolves are our high school rivals(Petersburg...GO VIKINGS!!). For a small place, there’s plenty of stuff to do: check out the State park, the Tribal house or the bear and wildlife observatory. Grab a bite at Notsofamous Pizza, Zak’s or the Stikine Inn. Wash down your meal at the Marine Bar(great pizza, too!).

Her we took and excursion to the Petroglyphs. They are on a beach on the outskirts of town. Very interesting. This town is also known for Garnets. They are collected and sold by children only. The garnet area was giving to the children.

Quaint. Small. Very run down. We walked the "neighborhood" and were disappointed to see one property run down and looking like a bad yard sale and the one next to it trying to make their home visually appealing.

Did not go into town, but rather took the best excursion EVER. Stickine River Jet Boat to Shakes Lake full of icebergs, and Shakes Glacier, where we were again sure one icebergs and beefy bits, and had a lovely little picnic with wine. This was a great, great, tour. Saw eagles and lots of harbor seals.
