Did the 26 Glacier Tour here and it was beautiful! A national park ranger was on the boat giving the tour, which was very informative. I highly recommend this excursion!

Whittier is great. The people are super friendly and welcoming. Begich Towers is really interesting. Take a trip through the tunnel or check out the PWS Museum. If you’re feeling peckish, you can grab a bite at the Sportsman or the Orca.

Whittier is a very small port. One lane road to get there. Stopped at nature preserve on the way in. We flew into Anchorage which is a beautiful town. Took a bus to the port. Never saw so much uninhabited land!

Rented a car to drive to Anchorage. Many senic photo stops. Also stopped at Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and Alyeska Resort and Tram. Both were must do experiences. Alyeska was the best tram on the trip. Views were unbelievable.

Small town pretty much dedicated to the cruise ship terminal. We took the Princess Bus to Anchorage and before we went through the tunnel the bus driver gave us a tour of the town and it's history.

Whittier was really interesting, but we didn’t do anything there. Our bus driver to Anchorage was super knowledgeable. We then went to Denali on our own.
