We stayed at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, convenient to walk around downtown. You will take a cab to port. I would recommend a day early, which we did but it rained. I think the Hop on Hop off bus is the way to go to see the city.

Beautiful port. We arrived to late at night to do any excursion and had to leave the next morning by 9am for the cruise. Would have been nice to had more time in Vancouver .

I live in Vancouver and can recommend it as a great place to visit. It is a walkable city, has a bike-share program, good public transportation, many cultural activities, and wonderful restaurants.

We stayed at the Sunset Inn. It was within walking distance of the port, had a small kitchen in the room, a great breakfast, and tons of dining options just up the road.

We live in the state of Washington so visit Vancouver once in awhile before boarding ship we did spend some time at Stanley Park what a beautiful Park mini walking trails bike trails and even a horse and buggy ride.
