Sitka is an adorable town. We spent our time strolling the neighborhoods and downtown area. We visited the Russian Orthodox Church and found that to be quite lovely. The town is friendly and approachable. We are planning a return trip to spend more time here.

Allot of fun. Go see the church, and the local history museum. The people were very friendly and thanked us for visiting their town. It reminded me of the TV show, Northern Exposure.

This town couldn't cope with the sudden influx of cruise travellers. Restaurant service slowed to a crawl (try 45 mins for the meals). Nothing much to see too. We decided that $45 for a soup & buger is far far too much $$$$ for the average quality meal & subpar service. Eating on the ship, we'd be happier.

Very clean and walkable. Some nice unique stores. Saw the Bear Fortress and walked the trail by the salmon ladder that was beautiful.

We walked about, not a tremendous amount to do in town, so a tour might be a good idea here.
