Kind of a sad port town from what we could see. We transferred with HAL to an extended Land + Sea journey to Denali, which was much better. Would definitely be better during early- to mid-season, rather than our late season booking.

Upgrade to the train ride from Seward to Anchorage. Wonderful sights to see and the train is very comfortable.

We took the bus along the beautiful scenery high way. A stop at the wild animal park definitely brings you to alaska if you are not going further north to Denali National Park!
