Had to leave ship at 6:15 am...why so early? Ruins your last nite and you’re so tired by the time you get to Anchorage...I don’t get it. Train ride does have beautiful sites, but you are crammed into a tight 4 person booth (usually you don’t even know your booth mates) for 4 1/2 hours. Most people are so exhausted from getting up so early they just want to sleep, but impossible due to the uncomfortable seating. I would of opted for the less expensive bus thta leaves a little later and gets you there faster with your own comfy seats! And...it was pouring outside and you have to walk a bit to get to your train car. The gentleman we were seated with has problems walking...he was promised a wheelchair. No wheelchair to be found and he had to make it on his own while being rained on.

I did not see anything in this port. Arrived by cruise train right to the terminal, and onto the ship.

Not enough time to even see Seward because of length of time given to board buses or train.

They do not provide a shuttle that goes directly to the ship from the train terminal. You have to either take a shuttle tour throughout all of Seward or walk ~1/3 mile to the ship. After a 4 hour train ride you just want to get on the ship.

Spent about 10 minutes here. Took the train from Anchorage (included) and walked straight on the boat after showing my documents and room key one more time. Fog rolled in about 30 minutes after leaving port but there was time to see the snow-covered mountains meeting the sea.
