We took a seaplane excursion and landed in a fjord where we were allowed to get out of the plane and stand on the pontoons. Great way to see the beautiful scenery. We saw a humpback whale breach beneath us which was spectacular.

Back Country Jeep and Canoe Trip. Great excursion and super staff. Took a 14 person canoe across lake where light snacks were served. Returned and then taken on a hour back country trek in a Jeep. It was a blast and all for in got yo drive on the crazy back roads. loved it!

Another quaint little town. The port is all souvenir shops and built for us cruisers. Get past that to see the real Ketchikan. We went salmon fishing here. Really too early in the season so we only caught about 8 kings and couldn’t keep them. Great time out on the water, calm and sunny day, whales, sea lions and the views.

Please! Go on the crab fest excursion. It was totally worth it. The drivers were extremely knowledgeable and funny. The only complaint is we did NOT have time to look around town. Shopping was less than 20 minutes. Needed way more time at that port. Excursion took 4 hours that was not including the drive out there.
