Because of our schedule change after losing Skagway, our time in Ketchikan was significantly reduced. We decided on the lumberjack show which was awesome. We had so much fun! I think this is a must-have excursion for everyone … at least once! After the show, we walked around on a sort of self-sightseeing tour and completed our stay by shopping at a couple of shops near the cruise ship. Just as in Juneau, we had a great shopping experience!!

Another favorite port! We did the rainforest hike and crab feast at George Inlet Lodge. Our hike guide, Clare, was a lot of fun and she was very informative when it came to the local fauna of the rainforest. We stopped in at the Alaska Raptor Center and got up close with an owl, bald eagle and a peregrine falcon. Lunch at the Lodge was good. The crab was messy, but delicious and the cheesecake was divine! Sadly, the excursion didn’t leave much time to hit the town. Next time.

Let me first state this. The BERING SEA was the BEST EXCURSION ever!! I highly encourage everyone to go. Educational, informative, adventure, and amazingly fun. live sea creatures up close and personal. touch or don't touch its up to you. all types of Crab, star fish, rock fish, octopus, plus up close to 50 bald eagles flying overhead, piercing the water to catch fish. spectacular excursion.

a nice city...we took the eagles, totem and light house tour...it was ok...but nothing exciting...I do recommend the Saxman Village tour...but if you go...take the ship's tour...we had a very unfortunate experience with a tour we got off ship...The Rain Forest Walk is also a fantastic experience...it was very good and very informative...the City has a very nice waterfront that leads to the red light district...and I saw my first pier runner...and yes...she made it to the ship

Norwegian more ports sWard Cove which is a 25 min shuttle to town. And you have such a short time there. Don’t expect to do much which is a shame because the town is beautiful.

We attended the Lumber Jack show and it was entertaining the teens even enjoyed it. My only complaint was that it is overpriced.
