Ketchikan is a great port. Sadly the weather was horrible so excursions were cancelled, but we managed to do a little sight seeing and have a nice meal at a restaurant on the pier. Not enough time to do much else since it is such a short stop.

This was our first taste of Alaska and what a taste it was! We explored a little on foot the morning we arrived. Then we took a float plane up to George Inlet lodge for a crab feast. The crab was to die for but the cheesecake is something I'll probably crave on my death bed. Go. You won't regret it.

We booked a Misty Fjords float plane ride through Celebrity. It is amazing and never to be forgotten. Highly recommend. One of the most awesome things I have done in my lifetime.

I enjoyed the native totem pole village. My daughter and I walked around the town and talked to the locals. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will return in 2019 for more

Ketchikan was OK. Mostly jewelry stores. We went fishing on a charter I booked myself with Experience One Charters. They were the only charter that could accommodate all 8 of us. Even tho the day started out very foggy, it cleared up and the water was like glass. We all caught a fish thanks to the expertise of the captain and his first mate.

Took a plane ride (beaver plane) and rode an ATV. Ketchikan is indescribably beautiful from the air.
