We did the excursion for the totem park in the bay (can't remember the name). Saw a lot of whales, seals and bald eagles. I do recommend this excursion.

We did the duck tour in this port and it was so much more than I expected. our guide was very funny and city tour was informative. The bus then goes in the water and you get to view wildlife. Lot's of bald eagles in this port.

Take the city bus to Totem Bight State Park. The bus is $2 (exact change) and the park is $5. Go early to avoid the tours from the cruise ships. The totems by the lake are magnificent.

Be sure to make the walk through the tunnel to downtown if you dock a bit out from the town center like we did.

Went to Neets Bay by floatplane and saw several brown bears catching salmon. Amazing experience.
