We just walked around town. Next time when we have the grands we will do the duck tour. Lovely town and shopping is right next to the ship. Easy on and easy off

The 4 stars is for our excursion “Wilderness cruise and crab feast” not really for the town of Ketchikan. Enjoyed going out to George Inlet and taking the crab boat tour and then going back to the restaurant for an all you can eat crab leg feast. My first time eating crab legs and it was delicious. They do have alternatives for people that are allergic or just don’t want crab legs. What I will warn people about if they have never been before to Ketchikan is the pushy jewelry people in this town. Diamonds International were the worse followed by the other chains. This caused me not to enjoy shopping very much at this stop. There was one local jeweler (not part of the chains) that had authentic Alaskan made pieces. I purchased a solid silver moose charm that I loved.
