Awesome whale watching tour followed by a trip to the Mendenhall Glacier. I’m glad we were able to see that glacier since the ice floes prevented us from seeing the Dawes Glacier.

Really enjoyed this port. Wife and I did the tramway up to Mt Roberts. Very beautiful views going up and from the top of the mountain. Afterwards went to Tracy’s Crab Shack for lunch. So good. King crab and a cold beer. Not much better. Also enjoyed the Red Dog Saloon.

Try lunch at the Twisted Fish!!

Again, everywhere jewelry stores and the most expensive of all excursions. We skipped the ship trip to the Mendenhall glacier at $295.00 and found one from the visitor center for $25.00 per person. Shame on Princess for such a ripoff.

Took a helicopter ride up to Herbert Glacier and did the authentic dog sledding at a mushers camp. Highlight of our trip!
