Haines is a quaint and friendly town. The glacier tour is breathtaking and we were able to walk to the face of the glacier. The tour guides are enthusiastic and very welcoming.

I visited here because of an excursion that brought us to an eagle preserve through Haines. I would recommend the eagle preserve.

Wait listed on a shore excursion and we did get to go on a tour of Haines. Not much there but they do the best they can. Some in our group took the ferry to Skagway and enjoyed that trip.

Very scenic area but literally nothing to do here but go for a stroll and work after dinner.

Did our own thing, grabbed some coffee from a local spot and walked around town, then rented bikes.

We chose not to do an excursion and instead walked into town. It was really cute. The gardens were amazing. We went to the local museum and to the Hammer museum.. what a hoot! even a local brewery with great beer and art.

Not much to see in Haines unless you go on a sighseeing trip. Haines is very tiny.
