We took the glacier excursion and was able to go much closer to the Sawyer Glacier than the ship could go. It calved 3 times while we were there and the naturalist said he'd never seen that happen before. The blue colors of the Glacier were amazing. There was a bear sighing as well, but we were not able to see it. This was my second favorite "port".

Come on, it's 5 stars because it's mountains and glaciers everywhere. This is the whole reason we got a balcony room. Because there were still tons of ice, the ship didn't go as far as it usually does but hey, listen to your captain! Even with that in mind, the sights will last a lifetime. I am humbled to be present in nature.

The Fjord was beautiful and we did book the excursion that cruised the Fjord in a smaller boat and this was disappointing for the cost ($220 if i remember). We did the same cruising as our ship did and did not get to touch the glacier or do some of the things the excursion said. I would not book this again.

We entered the Tracy arm fjord at approximately 7 AM it was probably 55° and a light rain. After a couple hours the rain lifted and I was able to enjoy a lot of the views sitting in the hot tub in the serenity area …breathtaking views

Absolutely beautiful sites! No excursion but not needed. Staying on the ship and seeing the mountains and glacier was enough. I don't even think the expensive excursion to go closer to the glacier is even worth it.

Our Itinerary changed to Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier. It was originally this, so we were excited that it changed back. There is nothing better than a scenic cruise. Suggestion: If you are on a balcony order room service, then enjoy your breakfast on your balcony.

This is not a real port-of-call. The ship sailed up the fjord and stopped by the glacier for an hour. The only way to get off is to book a boat tour for a closer look at the glacier. The glacier is pretty small and far away from the cruise ship.

I was here for mothers day a few years agom we just loved it, so quiet a radiant , the sun shined off the water although you couldn' be outside too long because of the cold weather.
