Rangers were great wealth of information. 360° degree viewing of glacier was cool. Our group made the most of our active selves and visited full all of the viewing points, indoors and out. Lots of great photos and it was a beautiful day to boot! No glacier calving, but was still magnificent scenery.

This was my favorite of the whole cruise! Besides the Glacier, we also saw a bunch of otters, moutain goats (from a far) and a whale. But the star was obviously the Glaciers. We were really lucky to have a sunny day so we could see the mountain peaks and the river of ice (glacier).

We sailed through Glacier Bay with the on-board naturalist narrating. It was breathtakingly beautiful, and we saw humpback whales breaching, sea otters, and several sea birds. The National Park Service rangers even came on board to give out stamps for our National Parks passports.

Unbelievable weather today! Sunny and in the high 50s. Enjoyed the amazing views of Glacier Bay from our balcony. Seals were lounging on bergy bits (learned what these are thanks to a trivia game on the ship) everywhere basking in the sun. Glaciers were rumbling but only saw a little calving.

The best of the best scenery. We were lucky to have exceptional weather. Glacier bay is one of the most amazing national parks I have ever seen.

Glaciers take your breath away. Must see for everyone. Nature at it’s best. Great wildlife. Princess had a park ranger board the ship and give a lecture.

It’s so amazing to think all of this was carved out in the last two hundred years. We saw the John Hopkins, Grand Pacific, Marjorie and one other glacier. The John Hopkins was a rare treat that most never have the opportunity to see. It is one of the fastest moving glaciers at 12’ per day.
