The weather outside was frightful
As always, cruising was such a blast. The staff just AMAZES me every time. The only reason I can't give a 5 is because on day three, we hit a cold front head on and the boat was rocking like i never imagined. The captain was calm and comforting, very informative and apologizing over and over. Of course, he has no control over the weather, but a fair warning to those who have or have not cruised before...it was a MISERABLE day of seasickness for me.
The town itself was very Americanized - but it is part of the US! The architecture and the people were so up my alley.
Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.
We had fun with friends at this stop. The beach was very rocky. Water shoes are a MUST! The vendors here were so friendly.
Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)
Fun and laid back with easy access. The locals were a bit overwhelming when it was time to shop though.
The sheer size of it - and so organized.
This was my favorite! The beach was sort of dangerous - large waves and serious undertow, but I loved the workout. The view was spectacular.
Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas
The whole idea of Perfect Day is so cool. The only reason I can't say it was excellent was because the clouds made for a very cold day on the water. I was a bit sad!
Jewel of the Seas
The smaller size of the ship made it easy to get to know almost everyone!
Carnival Elation
If Mutzie is the comedian on the ship - go to EVERY show. The man is a genius!
