Best one yet!
Everything on this cruise was fantastic! If I had to complain about anything, it would be the lack of food options. I won’t complain though because I didn’t gain any weight 😀
February 2019 - 3 Night Bahamas (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Liberty
This was my third Carnival cruise. I was super excited to be on a bigger ship (previous cruises were Fantasy class). Maybe my expectations were a little too high. The service on my previous cruises was awesome! Not so much on this one. None of the staff (with the exception of the cruise director) seemed to like their job.
We bought the Cheers package and we tipped on every drink but still had difficulty getting drinks. I was in the Casino for an hour without seeing a server. My boyfriend was at the Hold ‘em table and waited an hour and a half for a drink. Hasn’t anyone told them that drunk people spend more money? On the plus side, I got some $700 cookies!
Our room was cleaned every morning but I don’t know that I saw our room steward after the first day. The room was a typical cabin with a balcony. I’ve never done a balcony before. It was nice but not necessary for us. Next time, I’ll save my money.

Half Moon Cay, Cruise Director (Brandon) and entire Casino staff are awesome! Get the steak and eggs for Seaday brunch. You can cut the fillet with a butter knife.

Cruise tips
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
Our new favorite! Most stay close to the end where the ship is. Keep walking. Its like a private beach! Absolutely beautiful!
We tried a walking map that I found online. My husband was chest bumped by one of the locals demanding a dollar. Another lady walked behind us making comments as other locals passed about how unwelcome tourists are. The people in the shops and restaurants were friendly though. We will definitely do an excursion if we go back.
Carnival Fantasy
Go to the burrito place before 2. After they're rushing to get cleaned up. It is still good after 2 but it is better before.
