Review summary

This was my third Carnival cruise. I was super excited to be on a bigger ship (previous cruises were Fantasy class). Maybe my expectations were a little too high. The service on my previous cruises was awesome! Not so much on this one. None of the staff (with the exception of the cruise director) seemed to like their job. We bought the Cheers package and we tipped on every drink but still had difficulty getting drinks. I was in the Casino for an hour without seeing a server. My boyfriend was at the Hold ‘em table and waited an hour and a half for a drink. Hasn’t anyone told them that drunk people spend more money? On the plus side, I got some $700 cookies! Our room was cleaned every morning but I don’t know that I saw our room steward after the first day. The room was a typical cabin with a balcony. I’ve never done a balcony before. It was nice but not necessary for us. Next time, I’ll save my money.
