We did not take any trips in Victoria. Just were walking to the downtown - beautiful views.
Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska
Crew was great accomodating people with coffee and donuts since it was very cold and rainy in the early morning.
The trip - Glacier and gardens was very limited in terms of time - I wish we had more time to see both.
The trip White Summit (bus) was not very successful due to the weather - we were not able to see mountains since it was very cloudy so we were not able to see anything. It was a waste of money.
Our trip at Ketchikan was cancelled which was very disappointing.
Celebrity Solstice
We used mostly Oceanview cafe for breakfasts and lunches. One has to see when it is open because if you came there on your own schedule many of food counters are closed and the options for food are minimal.
I think this trip had it pros and cons.
Ship by itself is beautiful and has a lot of lounges to rest, to read, and to isolate yourself from others (if this is what you are looking for).
There were a lot of activities that we did not use because when you booked trips there is very little time left for any of them. The best shows were educational with Mr. B. Nixon - he is very talented in what he is doing, knowledgeable in the subject, and very intertaining. Evening shows were not as good as we were expecting them to be.
Cabins are very clean, and all the bathrooms in the ship are very clean and well equipped.
Overall, we think that the cruise is very expensive in terms of all costs including overpricing trips, overpriced drinks, special restaurants prices, cover charges, etc.
