One of our best cruises ever!
This was an eight day cruise from Cape Liberty visiting Bermuda, Nassau, and Perfect Day at CoCo Cay. We had a beautiful balcony cabin (7338). The food, service, and entertainment was fabulous. The especially enjoyed the reconstructed CoCo Cay visit. The ship was in great condition and it is the perfect cruise ship size: big enough, but not too large.

A beautiful large ship, but not one for peak season cruising.
The was our first 5000+ passenger cruise experience. Our previous 18 cruises were in the 900 to 4000 passenger range. It took some adjustment to lines at the beginning of the cruise. That eventually subsided as everyone settled in to their own schedules. I would recommend the Anthem during off-peak cruising periods when the passenger count is lower. The ship is beautiful and well kept and the cabins are exceptional. The food is also excellent.

Cruise tips
Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas
This is the highlight port of the the cruise. Royal did a fabulous job reconstructing CoCo Cay. It's beautiful. We rented a beach bungalow on South Beach and it was fabulous. Perhaps the nicest beach of a couple dozen islands that we have visited.
One of our favorites. We did a day pass to Elbow Beach Resort, which was very enjoyable.
This time (our tenth time in Nassau) we did a ship excursion to Pearl Island. It was a bit nicer than Blue Lagoon, but the beach was so-so and not particularly memorable.

Prepare for a great cruise!

Winds were too high to tender.
We remained onboard and enjoyed the mostly empty ship amenties that day.

Just embarkation and disembarkation only
Nassau is not our favorite destination. SInce we've been there more than a dozen times we just spent the better part of a day at Blue Lagoon, a private island beach, which was enjoyable.
Anthem of the Seas
I would do the Quantum class again, but NEVER during times when kids are out of school and the passenger count is near limits. The lines would probably be intolerable.
