Worst Suggestion you ever heard about cruising?

I had read a tip somewhere about not bringing big hard sided luggage as there was very little room to store it in the cabin when unpacked ... So, I took a duffle bag on wheels type thing and several small bags. What a nightmare! Meanwhile, not only was there ample room in the cabin for luggage but more than enough room under the bed.

Have you taken a suggestion for a cruise that turned out to be a disaster?

Large hard sides may not fit under some beds. But it will fit under the desk. The chair ? Turn it upside down, put it on the desk.

The worst advice was don't take a cruise. You will be bored out of your mind. 10 "boring" vacations later & I am still hooked on cruising.

More like the best advice lolWink

I think whoever gave that advise just wanted to film some runners to post on youtube

Worst advice was to try cruising...... now 20 years later and addicted Big Smile

Worst advice was not to bother trying it... "go to an all-inclusive instead".

Worst advice?

Take short cruises, you will hate the sea days......

Yea, right......

Also, I bought a hard case luggage set. The smaller ones stack inside the larger ones and fit under the bed just fine. I use it for extra protection since I like to bring booze back.

Worst. advice. ever.

The worst suggestion I ever heard on a cruise, was it ok to be a little late returning to the ship they will wait for you.
