Which excursion would you choose?

We are leaving on a Royal Carribean cruise out of Barcelona and visiting some ports in France and Italy. We are undecided about 2 of these ports. On our stop in Florence, we are not sure between seeing the more historical side of Florence and Pisa or going on an excursion that visits Portofino, Rapallo and Santa Margherita. Similarly, when stopping in Marsaille, our choices are to view scenic Marsaille or opt for Cassis, which I understand is a small and quaint fishing pier. Has anyone visited any of these locations and have some experience they can share? I appreciate all of your help.

Obvious solution is to book a second cruise of this itinerary and do all of them ;)
