Headed to AZ for the opening day of their Renaissance Festival. Look out! There will be a Colorado invasion.

We were exactly a week behind Fiona as she hit Cape Breton, Saguenay, etc. We had a few port changes but all in all, it was a lovely trip with amazingly beautiful weather.
All the locals were beyond grateful for our presence as we were for their service to us given many of them still had work to do on their own homes.
The storms are; however, awesome to watch from a ship. Mother Nature is amazing!!
Were here!
Just watching Fiona out in the Atlantic. It has just grazed Bermuda and is now heading to Cape Breton Island where it looks to be on a direct hit course at cat 2 or 3 level. That beautiful shoreline I posted from the house my grandfather built looks out from Glace Bay to the southern point of Newfoundland and will feel the full blast of Fiona as she approaches.
Glad you were able to see it before and hopefully it will be missed by Fiona.

That does NOT sound like fun. In certain parts of the USA and Canada really destructive weather can happen (Im in one of those areas.) Lots of folks especially city dwellers don't pay all that much attention...I used to be one of them. I learned different...a few miles difference on the path can make all the difference....I know cruise itineraries have been affected, but even the behemoths can get tossed around...for newbies, it can be....interesting...we usually head to the observation areas up high, order some fluids, and settle in....good luck!!!!!!!
