Maybe, who knows! We already have robotic bartenders and casino dealers. What's next. Oh wait, I did read something about robots possibly circulating around a ship acting like front desk personnel answering question but politely with lots of patience. Did see one right here at an event at the port last year.

.

With holding my judgement until I have more data.......Wink

I have nothing against high-tech (until the computers crash), but many of these are either already here or may be too dangerous:

1. GPS - It's called a map, with a "you are here" arrow.

2. VR - all fine and good until somebody tries to walk down the "avenue" and walks overboard. Or into a waiter carrying a tray full of drinks.

3. Fingerprint Scanners - Why would I want to give the cruiseline my fingerprints?

4. Sensory Deprivation Chamber - I don't see a use for this. If I need to completely escape human kind that badly, I shouldn't be on a cruise ship.

5. Holograms - This one I like - one in every room as a personal assistant/concierge.

6. Solar Windows - Another great idea. I thought I had read somewhere this was actually a thing?

7. Onboard Internet - NNNooooooooooooo!

Too much high tech. Pretty soon our waiters will be CGI.
