WELL, WE'RE BACK..review is up CCL VISTA

OUTSTANDING WEATHER 80's, sunny, every day except the last nite. Sat out on the balcony to watch the lightning show. Great fellow travelers, except for the slobs who ignore even making an attempt to clean up for so-called elegant nite. Have yet to see anyone denied entrance. By staying where we do, we can avoid most of the loudmouth, boorish people. Interesting how many others feel exactly the same way. Bartender once commented "what can you expect when you can get a cabin for $100?"...hmmmm....the review is up. And before anyone says it sounds like we didn't enjoy it, thats simply not true. Lowering expectations, realizing what was isn't what is, and expecting to have to deal with it still allows us to do 2-3 a year. Will continue to do so. BTW, had FIVE medical emergencies, including an at sea evac. Next one in DEC on NCL BREAKAWAY.

No idea, these Captains KNOW that fuel consumption ranks VERY high on corporate beancounter lists. Might've mentioned it elsewhere, but there was a medical evac at sea..met by somebody's CG...and FOUR more medical emergencies onboard...

BTW CK...I know you're fairly close to Galveston... how did you get on the island and avoid the endless construction?

We just got off Breeze today and Breeze had to return back to Cozumel, some one had a medical emergency. Captain picked up speed for hour loss. Interesting on the gurney they cover you up on the gurney like you are dead. Guess they dont want the "Carnival family" to know who the "Carnival family" member is. Wonder how much that will cost bringing a cruise ship back to port.

BTW,, I made a correction on my review. The itinerary was what it was supposed to be. Other cruises before and after it were affected by those "propulsion issues", including one 2/18/23 that affects us. Actually, I couldn't care less...but we did get an OBC to compensate. To us, certain cruises have become "boat rides" ..Thanks ALMHOUTEX.

Matters not I guess..but it would kind of irk me. Thats why I only enter one at a time. The system automatically nuked the clock on the one we just finished, then I joined the new one...actually, thats the only reason I join roll calls. its not conducive to "conversation" like this one.

Actually, we are sailing in 33 days on the Sky Princess for my milestone birthday. Then in January on the Vista. Then in 424 days on the Carnival Magic for our first New Years cruise. Don’t know why the algorithm decided to choose the farthest one.

The Phillies looked flat the last game, maybe home crowd will help. Big Smile

Betting on a lock is no kind of bet....yuk yuk...mebbe the STROS mighty midget will get caught cheating....heheheh

I bet a cold drink I know where you will be tonight? Game 3....

Well, just joined another roll call...40 days and counting...say AUNTIE...if you're sailing in January, howcome your countdown clock says 424 days???

Good review! We are looking forward to sailing on the Vista in January. I just have to remember to keep my expectations lower than pre-Covid.
