Yes we were. But at this point, it is what it is.

I don't know how well WERE doing, but it doesn't matter anymore....anyone who actually thought they could cruise to EUROPE etc, well...forget that......

I'm having enough trouble going to Washington (state). The WA governor has issued a mandate of a PCR test within 3 days, even for vacinated. Our riverboat cruise is in WA. Sad

The testing thing stresses me out.. I know that it will probably be a requirement for a while. It isn't easy to get a test back in a timely manner these days. I worry about doing it (along with will my kid be able to be vaccinated by June), and we have 292 days till we cruise.

Understand completely about being stressed over the testing requirement...went thru the exact thing until I convinced myself to it was necessary to go thru a distasteful exercise to satisfy myself that we could in fact get tested within the 3-day rule that CCL has imposed. I was hesitant to bump that rant of mine back to the top, until I realized it had over 300 "views"...so clearly you're in good company....

I'm not worried about being able to get the test so much as being able to get it back in time. I work in healthcare and get tested weekly. We can do any test the cruise line wants, but we have to send the samples to an off-site lab for the PCR test. My worry is we won't get the results in time. Once the facility gets the results, all I need to do is ask for a printout as my proof, but I can't do that until the results come back.

It is crazy that we are still experiencing this. If only everyone could work together.

European tourists have been blocked by the US for some time. Canada borders was closed. Only way to get in is from the south.
