Using Future Cruise Credit

Sadly our cruise to Bermuda on Grandeur of the Seas was canceled due to propulsion issues. We are to be given a full refund and FCC. I already see there will be black out dates. What has been your experience using future cruise credit? Easy, lots of restrictions??? Any suggestions on best way to use?

The future cruise credits have a certificate number. You just give the travel agent those numbers and it's applied.

I have used it a number of times and had no issues or problems using them.

The credit is in your account...all the lines work that way....just the actual amount varies. I would call them to book it, or use an experienced TA, rather than do it on line, just to make sure its in there...

I have used them once, and things may have changed since then, but found it very easy, the amount of credit was just used against the cruise that was booked, and then we paid the extra.
