Design ahead of its time, doomed by US Dollar vs Euro fluctuations. Some aspects in use today by Carnival and RC Oasis Class ships. See attached 11-minute video.

Too bad the timing was bad. Sounds like an a very creative design.

I watched that video last night while cruising YouTube (I also found a video that showed me how to get Fallout 3 to run on Windows 10 Big Smile). A very productive day with a wasted night playing the game!

Its a shame that the project was scrapped. Its also amazing how similar RCL Oasis class is to that design.

Danyl, welcome to this forum.

It would have been a massive ship! But however, the bigger ship the larger number of passengers. And I have heard and read reviews, that larger numbers create problems with the quality of service. The Vista and Horizon are cruising that fine line. Today my husband said that Carnival has just started consruction on another ship today!

Yes, the giant ship that will never be.
