that's too bad to hear man, if only u can turn around haha

Agreed!! As an aside, i wish all cruise lines would streamline the process for doing those B2B cruises....this thread (which started and ended 2 months ago more or less) was dredged up by "someone" or "something"...got an email from "somewhere" with some kind of whackado post attached, promoting "something"....fortunately, it either didn't post, or it had "help" being removed......

too bad you cant just quickly turn around and get back on the boat lol

Actually, now isn’t as good (weather wise) as this coming Friday. The winds are going to be high…a good time to be on the ground.Wink

Speaking of which...the weather out your way looks...interesting......mebbe you should leave sooner!!! like NOW??? you could phone Christmas in....from someplace ALOT warmer! (j/k)

Oh, MY! I always wonder what conditions we will have when we return from a cruise during Winter. Colorado can be kind and/or it can be brutal in the Winter. So far (knock on wood), we have only had to scrape ice off the windows.

Yep! Storms that bad can affect every single step of the way.

This is one of those weather things that have happened before and will happen again. Back in 2012 when Sandy roared through NY passengers at the Brooklyn Terminal had similar experiences as storm surge washed over the whole area. We were fortunate enough to be using the Manhattan terminal where parking was on the roof of the terminal. Our cars fortunately were not affected.

This storm is the same one which was responsible for the post a few days ago where passengers on an MSC cruise from Manhattan were upset that instead of going to Caribbean they went north for a 3 day Boston stay and then to Canadian maritimes. Interestingly that this storm is just now leaving the area where they were sent.

Sounds like one of them old commercials .... "Hello ... Prudential ......"

fortunately, "some" help was provided....but somehow it just can't make these poor folks feel better...
