You guys never heard of Mumbai, Indiana?
I must agree with you Yankee47. That one was well earned.
The only part of your vast country I have visited was Goa and also Mumbai.
Delightful people, and so charming.
Really enjoyed the food also.
Thanks
Lynn is beautiful
You're not only a troll, but a stupid one...She lives in the USA..in NORTHERN INDIANA.....not INDIA...dolt.
Pinkie I'm in Northern Indiana and we had about the same size by my house but larger just across town! It was rough.
We stopped flying long ago...call it paranoia, whatever...all we read is whackadoo stuff happening on planes. Unfortunately, we're old enough to remember when things weren't that way..flying was part of the fun of a cruise or vackay. So we drive. Leave early enough to avoid the angst of being under time presssure to board..stay over at decent motels and sometimes just add some sightseeing along the way. Home is usually more direct...you know how it is...
Understand completely. We have friends that enjoy the road trip as well. Neither of us enjoy driving. Our road trips tend to be 8 hours or less.

That would be 1016 miles and Galveston would be 1082 miles. That’s a long time in a car.
Drive to a west coast port ??
I think you need to go on a cruise to recover from the trauma of the storm .....
I think you’re correct. But it’s the airfare that’s keeping us home for now!
Our elec was out 36 hours last week..We have a serious genny...can run almost anything, even simultaneously...just a PITA dealing with it. Could have been (and has been) way worse. No reason to complain I guess. We watch the WEATHER CHANNEL on TV and online...seems more accurate than some of the local yokels. As far as cruising goes, when we book em, we go. So if its supposed to rain, oh well, it rains....can live without really serious storms tho...sometimes Cap'n Guillermo deSanTropez von Guildenstern wants to have fun and a cruise ship can get tossed around a bit. Interesting how big they look dockside....and how small they are out at sea...I'm sure we've all seen big ol cruise ships not even that far off, and how small they look compared to the ocean.
