Since we actually have people on Cruises...

So, Since we actually have people onboard cruises, for REVENUE Cruises, with more and more Test cruises being approved weekly....

How soon will you book again,

and

What will your first few hours look like when you board your next cruise?

We are booked for December 18 on Symphony, March 27, 2022 on Oasis for our 12th Anniversary cruise (It was supposed to be 10th), and April 16, 2023 on Grandeur

First thing I will do on Symphony will be to go to the Park Cafe, grab a "Kimmelweck" (Prime Rib on a Kimmelwick Roll...it's a Buffalo, NY thing, and its incredible), stop at the Trellis Bar for a Dark and Stormy for me - Glass of Bubbles for the Mrs, and then proceed to the pool deck, for several Fosters, until I can proceed to my room, and complete the Muster 2.0.

I may also handcuff myself to the deck rail until we pull away from the terminal, just to make sure it's real, and I may also drop to the deck in the Promanade, and kiss it as soon as I get on board.

Sounds like those Canadian borders are getting closer and closer to Opening. I Finally got approval to proceed across the border, and do an emergency equipment install that was originally scheduled for September 2020...

Not really sure yet when we will book. Thought about it last week but still too many changing variables. Being here in the great white north we still have a closed border between us and the cruise ports. Need for that to open and for the kinks to iron out. We just got our second jab yesterday so that part is no longer a concern. Just the red take and what not.

if you read the countdown next to my name, that's how soon I'll be on Anthem Of The Seas! After my November cruise, I'm booked again in January!

I always enjoy your positive outlook!!

We have our first Riverboat cruise in the Pacific Northwest in October. While it won't be an ocean liner, I think you'll have a difficult time wiping the smile off my face. Our first ocean liner is scheduled for February 26th. (Who knows if something might pop up before then?!? ) I intend to be dancing myself onto the ship and I don't care who's watching!Love

I'm watching to see how things are going. I'm thinking end of year cruse out of Los Angeles (My local port) either a Pacific coastal cruise or maybe a 15 night R/T to Hawaii. I'll see how cruising does until then.

Until I'm comfortable with people packed on a plane with no space I'll stick to ports I can drive to or road trips.

If things in the world go well enough that I'd be comfortable on a plane then maybe August or September an Alaska cruise out of Seattle and visiting family in Seattle.

I like that.....That just about sums it up for us.....We're going to try to do the stuff we normally did do....b4 this insanity....

Well, when the world gets to some sort of normal and we can cruise I will be overjoyed. Once onboard we will go to the atrium, order a drink and watch all the jubilant faces coming into the area beaming with absolutely ecstacy. Then it is off to Guys for a burger and a beer. The rest of the cruise will be spent doing whatever at our leisure- you can bet even the simplest action/event will be absorbed and enjoyed.

We'll be on the Carnival Magic next March. Since it's vacation, I'll throw caution to the wind and ignore my cardiologist's voice in my head. I will purposely skip the hotels free breakfast, for I'll have [2] lunch dates with Mr. Guy Fieri. Our first stop upon embarkation will be his burger joint where my wife and I will split a "Straight Up" and some fries. Then its off to the Pig & Anchor for some pork butt & mac daddy mac & cheese.

After lunch we'll walk around the ship to acclimate ourselves, eventually ending up at the pool. I'll probably doze off at the pool (weather permitting) while nursing an NA beer. My wife will probably have the drink of the day. I hope the Florida sunshine will be "beaming" because it will be early March, and by that time we will be very weary of our Midwest winter.

We're still considering a Nov 21' cruise, but I want to see how the restart unfolds before making a decision. In any event, if we do go, the first few hours would be similar.

I honestly don't know what we're going to do...I like your plans, but at this moment in time my brain simply won't accept "bizness as usual" not yet anyway...theres still a bunch of pols and a Fed judge in the mix...not to mention fluctuating rules about who can cruise and so on....its enough for me that we're "sort of" really expecting to actually cruise on schedule. ...no cancellations, FCCs, rebooking of rebookings. Usually we'd be doing stuff like you are, but we got one of the Havana corner suites on VISTA with a wraparound balcony...so, fwiw, I'm going to stand there awhile and make durn sure we're actually moving AWAY from Galveston....GL2U!!!
