Sell Me On Costa By Carnival Venezia

So I found a decent deal for next year on the Venezia. Ports of call include Puerto Rico, Turks And Caicos, Half Moon Cay, and St. Thomas. I have no issues with that and have done that itinerary before.

I'm struggling because I've been on Carnival 3 times and had a bad experience twice. I've been on Costa and had a bad experience too. I'm willing to try and overlook that and give them the benefit of the doubt.

I looked online and saw nothing but bad reviews. I looked at the YouTube videos there and didn't see anything that I can find on other ships. I love to do the signature attractions (not just the signature activities), so this is a huge selling point for me.

I want to know what makes this ship different from others.

We are booked on the Venezia due to a ship swap from The Magic departing in Sept.

Since nobody has yet to sail her under the Carnival Brand and Costa wasn't geared toward American passengers, it's hard to judge what we may experience. So, I am looking forward to passenger reviews once the June sailings begin.

I have sailed Carnival a few times and not a big fan (too old for all the party crowds, lol) but do enjoy Princess and HAL, so CCL still gets my $$.

Oh I almost forgot one port of call: Amber Cove!

We did decide to book, I'm still a little apprehensive about it, as I haven't had great experiences with either company.

We're leaving in April, shortly after the ship has been refitted and signed over to Carnival.

I'm interested as well, My son has looked at a couple of trips for us on that ship.
