Here is a YouTube of people on the ship telling us what is being done on the ship.

This was a back to back, 1st part was from the UK to the Caribbean without mask, then they picked up passengers for 2nd part of the cruise a Caribbean cruise. The passengers that got on for the second cruise are the ones that tested positive after a few days on the ship. One crew member also tested positive. This is a "Yacht" not a cruise ship, it only had about 50 guest and 60 crew. Being a Yacht it does not have to meet the same restrictions set by the CDC like a cruise ship.

You can look at some of the earlier posts by Ben and David to see the first part of the cruise with no mask being worn on the ship.

I read on the CDC website that one of the proposed precautions was to wear a mask when in public on the ship. Of course we know that could all change tomorrow.....

lol. so much for an ounce of prevention being worth a pound of cure. They had a duty to do the right thing for the sake of the industry

No, you read that right..the story I read was from CNN. Given the rules re the number of passengers, they were exempt. Until....they "reconsidered".....

I thought I read that the ship did not require masks on-board as they were doing so much testing? Or did I mis-read that?

Kind of depends which set of ears it falls on, doesn't it?

Already some from the House of Representatives are calling fora new No-sail order. Hopefully, it will fall on deaf ears, but....Surprised

As a quick followup, it looks like now there are 7, but apparently enough negative tests will permit passengers to disembark and go home...I previously said it was a small ship...tiny is more appropriate. You could probably put all the passengers and crew into a couple of lifeboats. They did everything right, and got it anyway....so turns out they "volunteered" for a free cruise...and didn't even know it.....

One is enough to throw a wrench into any plans any lines had to restart. As I opined, it was predictable...Unfortunately, reading the news, it turns out it was FIVE, seemingly from the same "group"....and this on a smaller ship, theoretically easier to prevent than on a behemoth many of us have sailed on, and given the lengths they went thru to prevent it.......sad bizness....

Well now!!!
