I've noticed there is usually a flurry of comments (4 or 5) about 1-2 weeks before the sail date. At least that's the way it was for my last couple of cruises.

The roll calls on here are always very quiet, unfortunately. The Shipmate app is more active. Usually there is a FB group rollcall. I find those fairly active.
