Refund but when?

We had a cruise to Alaska in August which included going inland to Denali Park. The cruise was very good. The inland portion is many hours on a train and busses for not much to do or see at the lodges.

At Princess Denali Lodge we booked a small plane tour of the mountains which was cancelled due to the weather. When we got home and checked our Visa, we had been charged $900 for one couple ( not us)and $900 for yet another couple. We received only one refund. Princess is not disputing the documentation but we have yet to receive the refund 2 months later.

Unbelievable and disappointing for a company touting its excellent customer service.

Nonsense. Work with??? obviously, who ever they are, they're not, whether its PRINCESS or Joe Blows Aircraft Co.......This charge should have been disputed with the credit card company involved...all it takes is a few clicks. This would have been long resolved by now. Doesn't matter one little bit WHO you purchased it from. I would have called PRINCESS one time, and disputed it on my c/c the same day..Getting a runaround, or ignored for ANY amount of money/service that one uses a credit card to pay for and not get (hopefully NOT a debit card) is rediculous...and becomes YOUR fault....Unless your group feels like donating the $$$.

And don't say "NOBODY here would be able to assist you...."..there's almost always a suggestion or solution to a problem involving cruises in here from somebody.....whether or not the OP decides to actually DO something proactive about this is another story.....

Yes, flights purchased directly from Princess at the Princess Denali Lodge , which makes the incredibly long wait for the refund seem surreal. Also surreal is paying for two other couples’ flights.

Did you purchase the tour directly through Princess? If not, there may not be much they would be able to do and you would have to work directly with the vendor.

If you did purchase the tour through Princess, while it's great that you posted your situation on here, it's best to continue working with them, since nobody here would be able to assist you.
