Got the usual email from our "PERSONAL CRUISE CONSULTANT"...after calling 2x he never called back. I called "cold", got another one, she didn't have a clue...they're all operating from home...I guess that can get tiresome..I said someone's at the door, I'll cb, and hung. If I (or my wife) don't "communicate" right away with their reps, there's no point in the conversation. Tried again this AM, got a very pleasant young man, ..didn't even have to wait on the phone either...first, reduced our fare FOR THE SECOND TIME on our NOV cruise..got the confirmation and amenities page...if you don't get those, you got "nuthin"...and wound up with about $500 left over as a credit on our next one after that, not counting a couple of banked CRUISENEXT COUPONS... The "new" NCL schedule is due out o/a 4/29. Gonna make him our "new" consultant.....BTW, no mention made of "age" restrictions or requirements. Don't ask don't tell....

Yep that is all you can do at this point .. watch and hope
No, haven't booked one on those. sailed a couple times on RCL fwiw...hopefully, that's all "old news" and won't become permanent when they start sailing again...but...they all "know" how old you are from any number of places, including your acct info, your passport, and so on...if they don't communicate a warning TO YOU, with your name on it prior to boarding....well then, can you imagine a few hundred or thousand grey heads being denied passage at the terminal??? besides, what're they going to do with them?? make it a requirement while you line up to be processed?...the thing is a nightmare, and I'd bet somebody will sue...age discrimination etc..AARP for example....there were folks who were ignorant enough to think they were "immune" if they were only 40....we now know NOBODY is immune...and besides...I'll say it again...they start sailing and ONE ship gets ONE case...GAME OVER!!!
I guess it is a matter of staying tuned and watch how things develop.
Did you notice the Fit to Travel forms On Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and Azamara cruise lines ?

Glad to hear things finally got resolved. I especially like the "no age restriction" information! Congratulations on finding a person to work in your best interest!
Being over 70, I am in favor of no new restrictions in that regard. On our last cruise, we got a 2 for one deal with Cruise Next. Booked another cruise as soon as we got home.
