Passenger Choirs

My darling wife has asked which cruise lines have a passenger choir?

We know that P&O do, but not sure who else does.

Any information gratefully received.

I have the scars to prove that yes, they still use keelhauling on the cruise ships.

In my case, while I was singing in Crooners, the Captain called down and asked, due to the horrible sounds emanating from that area, if he should consider abandoning the ship.

Yes by all means i'd like a complete list...……….

I tried to sing in the Lobby Bar once----Tell me, It's not true about the Keel Hauling---is it?

They have had it on the Pacific Princess each time we were on it. They had a director and practiced a lot.

I have seen the passenger choirs on Princess.

Closest thing that I have seen to it on Carnival was more of a flash mob and that is not on every ship.

Carnival also has a Legends night where passengers audition for famous singer parts ( Garth Brooks, Elton John, Madonna, etc.) and the winners put off a show on the last night.

I know that on P&O cruises (and some others) on sea days passengers are invited to meet up with one of the entertainers, and create a choir, which towards the end of the cruise, give a performance. Rehearsals are normally on sea days.

I have been told RCI also do it, but on the 11 cruises that we have been on RCI, have never seen it advertised.

We are looking for a 2020 cruise (already got 2019 booked) and wanted to establish how many other cruise lines also do this.

First I have ever heard of a choir. Can you elaborate?
