First time cruisers, any advice is appreciated. Sailing 12/03/2018. Thanks

We drove on I-10 when headed to Biloxi, Mississippi from the east coast of FL and saw all the devastation alongside the road in the Panama City area. About 115 miles of trees were affected. Wow! On our way home 9 days later we saw crews out cleaning up the debris. It will take a long time to get the areas cleaned up.

My advice is to go with an open mind. Realize that some things may not go smoothly and don't let any disappointments ruin you vacation. Go on the cruise line's Website and familiarize yourself with the layout of the ship so you will know your way around once you are onboard.

Welcome to the forum :) What ship are you sailing on?

I agree with AuntPinkie. Here is my two cents. If you did not buy the beverage package. Check your bill at least half way through the cruise. Just swiping that card and not paying attention can catch up to you. Plus it is easier to fix a mistake if it’s caught early as opposed to the last night of the cruise.

Enjoy the ocean, take a walk on the deck during Sunset it is beautiful.

Relax, enjoy, ignore the little glitches, have fun, dance, play trivia, go to the shows, laugh, and most of all remember you are a vacation with thousands of others who are enjoying life just like you. Hope you find it as wonderful as we do and become addicted to this type of vacation. Welcome to cruising and the forum.
