Oooof!

I knew CCL (like the other lines) took on debt during the pandemic, but I had no idea the hole was THAT deep. I also read they're trying to sell their Seabourn line. They'll need to do a hell of a lot more than that to put a dent in the $35 BILLION that they owe.

No wonder CEO Arnie Donald pushed the eject button and is getting out soon. He probably is tired of the constant headache he has while trying to figure out how to service all that debt. And here I thought it was because they didn't approve his monstrous pay bump.

Get your CCL cruises in soon, because who knows where they'll be in a few years.

As usual, the only ones who would walk away smelling like roses (golden roses) are the pooh-bahs up top...I have seen it (and unfortunately participated) MANY times...sometimes I could smell the stink coming, and sprayed accordingly...other times it tends to splash around...

Yeah............ a very big truck.

Congratulations...been "trying" to explain (poorly obviously) off n on for a year+ just how deep that hole was. and I have yet, despite participating "in the big game" to come across any actual plan to dig themselves out. Back 2017, it was in the mid 60's. now? 13...and no, I didn't partake....thank gawd...all the discounts in the world wouldn't make up for any of that. Its bad enough the "changes" implemented to mere customers to squeeeeeeze out more $$...besides selling off stuff that is...they'd need a truck just to haul the liens around...
