I can't even do 10 much less 180 days and the days at sea would have me going crazy.

I think you might find it easier than you think. It is not so much the number of days before you start getting itchy. I find it is usually the last day I start feeling itchy mainly because I am thinking about the packing and debarking. I think I need to focus more on enjoying things and have another drink.

I could never do 180 days. Longest I have done is 7 days, and by day 5, I'm looking to do something productive.

The 10 day we're taking next year is going to be a challenge.

I think I could do the 180 but I think my wife might have a few difficulties such as missing the dogs. Also I don't think my lawn would be very happy nor my neighbours ;)

I agree! But to the original question, yes I could do 180 days without a problem.

I have cruised for a minimum of 7 days to 16 days on a B2B. B2B are the norm for us now due to the cost of air travel. Our next cruise is a B2B in May for a total of 22 days. Gotta love it.

I would enjoy a cruise like that, but my DH would go "overboard". He's getting better, it was his idea to do a B2B and be gone for two weeks. We'll see if he starts pacing about day 11!?! I would love to retire on a ship and that sounds like the place to start. I probably couldn't afford it but that doesn't matter for the time being!

agreed. cruises improve my attitude immensely...planning em, packing for em, and going...even if everything isn't slam-dunk perfect, its still bettern anything else I do around here. hope that never changes.

You know, its sad that our minds even have to go to that! We sign up for a wonderful vaycay and some jacka** has other plans! This world we live in is insane. I'm sitting at my desk talking to you and reading the news and just read about a serial rapist in Britain. That story was sickening.

A "job"????? nah, these are independently wealthy folks who can also disappear for extended periods. let other folks run their business or count their $$ for them. Your questions are VERY interesting. but i have one. an ugly one. Now if I was a terrorist.......
