New review in the works

Good evening,

I just received a short notice from my son who is on the Enchantment Of The Seas. He is a very seasoned cruiser having close to ten cruises in his pocket. He has cruised on Celebrity, NCL, Princess and HAL. He was at a business conference in Orlando and booked a three day cruise with his wife ( her first cruise).

Now I know I don't have first had knowledge of short cruises as the shortest one I've taken was a week and the longest--so far was 23 days. But, he mentioned the food on this trip. Now, I have mentioned he holds a Red Seal in the culinary arts, so he may be slightly biased in his review.

He is due back Monday night and I will have him do a detailed review for me.

Quick question folks.... In your experience---is the food better or worse on shorter quick turnaround trips than on longer trips?

I agree, the best food usually is on longer cruise. v Many of the shorter cruises don't offer lobster anymore.

Granted, food quality reviews are very subjective. Cuisine quality leads but my strong opinion is that the shorter the cruise, the worse it gets for overall cruise quality, period! Reductions in MDR wait staffs and kitchen staffs are a school in inadequateness.

Nice. Awaiting a good read.

I have found the food not as good on 3/4 cruises as opposed to longer ones. I don’t understand it, but that is my opinion. I also understand that food is very subjective.
