Looks like |NCL is running into some issues with current cruises.

Trouble seems to be brewing. Just saw that NCL Pearl cruise which departed yesterday is headed back to Miami and the Getaway scheduled to leaver tomorrow has been cancelled due to crew covid. In the mean time Encore and Dawn are being re-routed due to closed canceled ports.

Mebbe it was the Billy Martin analogy....although I doubt most folks don't understand it...unless they're bazeboll fans.....and old enough.....

I've got a better term for it, but it wouldn't be posted...I didn't know I posed such a threat, or had that kind of influence...mebbe I should run for elected office...THEN I could say anything I wanted eh??? Fit right in...

Oh yeah. I can see where you violated all sorts of freedom of speech issues. You are a one person wrecking ball to the cruise industry, who must be silenced at all costs.

I believe you have been "ghosted". At least I think that's the term.

Well...in it I accused the entire cruise industry of, shall we say, "bending" or at least "concealing" the truth about numbers, and just how so many crew seem to get the thing....mebbe somebody on high didn't like it...can't remember the last time an entire thread was deleted...cyber is what it is.....

Well, the PR people do have to communicate in a manner that will placate the customers AND satisfy their in- house legal team . Not sayin' it's right, just a reality. I can tell you from experience that there is probably some schmo who was part of the team that drafted that letter who wanted to scream out. "just give it to them straight already!" I know this because I was that schmo in a couple of instances in my career.

BTW: On a not too unrelated issue, what happened to your "Liars" topic? I can't find it in the forum.

There's that vaunted corporate doublespeak...yep, they really think EVERYBODY "out here" is stupid...

Princess from our past cruise in November on the Majestic was awesome and no issues. I think they are pretty squared away with their protocols. The hardest part was after eating and drinking was to get my mask on with the elevator right next door. So I'm a slow learner. When the door opens and everyone has a mask, it's a BIG CLUE. Can't wait for Hawaii in March on the Grand (First cruise ship to return to Hawaii).
