LOOKS LIKE A FUN TRIP...

So it might have been a good idea for Capt Ernesto diGuilio von Lichtenstein to make an announcement calming folks down, sharing some news etc?? Regular cruisers know that occasionally it happens, but its hardly the rule...upon, reflection, even if he did make announcements, chances are nobody would have understood him anyway....

Can you push the flush button ???

I think puking and vomiting is actually an appropriate description of what happens on any ship in those conditions..sometimesd experienced seamen can get that way, if conditions are bad enough...I suspect that the crew weren't having a wonderful time of it.

I never get sea sick but I can only imagine the amount of vomiting people on this pleasure cruise!

From reports that I saw most of the flood affected cabins were crew and not passenger. If you check the weather reports for that time period the storm was not that bad. So they either encountered a very localized storm intensity or they are just looking for publicity. As my dear departed grandfather might have said .... "Sh%% happens". It's all part of the experience.

And now the lawyers take over.

My favorite lines in stories such as this typically comes from the PR flack. Here is the one from this article.

A Carnival spokesperson said "only a “small number” of passengers and crew members required “minor assistance.”

Yeah, minor. All of ones belongings watersoaked and having to be relocated to a new cabin. I wonder if they offered free laundry service to the affected guests.......................nah. Just throw those clothes over a chair. They'll dry out in no time".

Why would they sail into a storm?

That would have been abit unnerving. It's going to take a lot of time to get those rugs dry!

Did they charge extra for the wild water ride?

Askin for a friend......Yummy

One way to swab the decks !! (maybe not the most preferred)
