Yes, register on the Roll Call. There are usually more passengers registered on the App.

St. Johns University is land locked. It is near Laguardia Airport though.

You are more likely to find someone sailing with you on the roll call for your ship. You will find it under the "more" heading. Just follow the promps. Have a fun cruise and I hope you find like minded fellow cruisers.
