I know we are not cruising, but when and if we do . How are the cruises to Hawaii ??? 11 days .
I would love to know .
Many years ago we did NCL Pride of America. It was our first time to the islands and a nice way to visit most of them and do daily excursions. We would rent a car at each stop and take in the sites. It was very nice having your hotel move to each island. Its a great sampler.
When we have the time, we really want to take a B2B from/to BC which gives you lots of sea days too to enjoy the ship.
Never thought about doing that. It sounds great. Will have to consider doing the car rental also. Thank you so much.
Hawaii is on our bucket list, also. However it may still be awhile as we have 2 cruises on the books already for 2021 and we would like to do a European river cruise, too.
The Jones Act (also known as the Passenger Services Act) prohibits ships of Non-U.S registry from embarking and debarking guests at two different U.S ports. Such travel would constitute point-to-point transportation between two U.S ports, which is prohibited on foreign flagged ships.had my Alaska Hawaii cruise in September because of this reason be careful if you book back to back.
I remember there used to be a port stop at "Fanning Island" which is an atoll a few hundred miles south of Hawaii. As a non-US territory it served the function of an intermittent foreign port.
I did the 7 day NCL Hawaii Cruise twice. Love the ports. Our first time about 11 years ago did not enjoy the ship at all. This past January big difference with the ship again loved the ports but it was storming the entire time but we still manage to have a good time. We will be doing Hawaii again.
